Located along the Singapore River, at Riverside Point, Brewerkz is a restaurant and microbrewery that has been serving the Lion City since 1997. Serving American-style cuisine, they also offer a variety of local brews.

Their primary dark option is the Oatmeal Stout. A deep, rich beer that provides all the accents one expects from a dark beer. The Brewerks website states “Oats give this rich and very dark beer a silky mouth-feel with rich notes of chocolate and coffee.”

The Oatmeal Stout has a 6.0% ABV.

Named after a Spanish leader’s hometown, Valladolid was established in 1860. Located in Negros Occidental, one of the town’s primary attractions is the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, which was built in 1851. According to the Negros Occidental government website:

“In 1851, the Recollect Missionaries laid the foundation of the Valladolid Church, said to be the biggest in the province at that time. Considering the power of church authorities as they run the affairs of the government then, the size of its church and convent is proof that Valladolid was among the province’s most progressive pueblos during the Spanish era.”

The Humay-Humay Festival is held every February 28th to celebrate the annual harvest.

Valladolid, Spain is located in the community of Castilla y León.
