Opened in 1916, in Sydney’s Miller’s Point, this historic locale is a short stroll from the tourst-heavy Rocks district and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Closed since 2008, conflicting reports say whether it is permanently shut down or just for renovation.

There is a great desire from many locals to resurrect the pub, during the World War I, it was said to be the last stop before diggers were deployed to Gallipoli.

Guests say the balcony offered a spectacular view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
