A 5.7 kilometer panoramic ride to Lantau Island’s Ngong Ping village, the Ngong Ping 360 cable car provides transport from the Tung Chung Town Centre to the cultural exhibit just outside the Po Lin Monastery and the Tian Tan Buddha statue.

While in the cable car, visitors can take in the majestic views of the Lantau Country Park and are also offered a glimpse of Hong Kong International Airport.

In 2009, the Crystal Cabin cable cars were introduced. Those varieties offer views in a glass-bottom cable car. The glass bottom also allows one to view the hiking trail through the park.

Ngong Ping 360 is owned by the MTR Corporation, the operator of Hong Kong's subway system.
