Consing Carinderia

with one comment

In every town around the world, there are always an array of lunch options. On many occasions, especially when travelling, it can be a particularly special experience finding a small local spot. In Bacolod City’s Central Market, there are many dining establishments, called carinderias, offering a variety of dining options at very low cost.

Consing Carinderia, in the midst of the “Masa Mart” section of Central Market, provides an assortment of entrees, expected to be enjoyed alongside an order of rice. Vegetable dishes cost ₱15 (37¢) and meat entrees are ₱30 (74¢). A lunch including four entrees and three orders of rice comes to around ₱99 ($2.44).
