With a $352 million pricetag and a seating capacity of 71,054, Houston’s Reliant Stadium, home of the NFL’s Houston Texans, opened in 2002.

Besides football, the stadium is also home to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas (formerly, the Texas Bowl).

This photo was taken day of the inaugural Texas Bowl where Rutgers defeated Kansas State 37-10. The old logo is still featured throughout the park.

Reliant Stadium featured the first retractable roof in the NFL.
