Federico’s Island Wines is a Filipino wine producer that makes wines from local ingredients. One of the wines they produce is made of Bignay, a local fruit equivalent to a currant. The wine carries an almost tart taste.

In 2009, Federico’s was awarded as “Best Bignay Wine” by the Department of Science and Technology South Luzon Cluster.

Based in Victorias City, Negros Occidental, the producer also makes a wines made from Pineapple and Duhat (similar to grapes).
